Best Music Apps for 2025

Check out the best music apps for 2025. See what we picked out for you!

After a tiring day of work, studying, or even a long trip, nothing beats listening to your favorite music to relax or even help pass the time on a long journey, don’t you agree?

Back in the day, we didn’t have the convenience we have today for listening to music; you had to carry a discman and a fabric case with about 20 CDs in your backpack.

Nowadays, the combination of the internet, cell phones, and tablets makes our daily lives much easier.

With all this convenience when it comes to music, so many apps have been developed that it’s hard to know which one is the most worthwhile for the user.

That’s why we’ve put together a list of some of the most widely used apps by music lovers while they go about their daily tasks, so you can choose the one you prefer and enjoy even more music out there. Shall we?

Spotify

Spotify is one of users’ favorites, as it has a broad catalog of music styles, ready-made playlists, radio stations, and even podcasts, allowing you to discover new tracks on more than one device.

The app download is free and available for iPhone (IOS) and Android.

You can create a free account and save your favorite songs, but with the free version of the app, you can only listen to songs in random order, without being able to skip tracks very often, and with ads in between.

If you want to get rid of those “buts,” you can subscribe to one of the Premium plans offered by Spotify.

Deezer

The app follows a proposal similar to Spotify’s and is also available for download on iPhone and Android

The Premium (paid) version can be tried free for 3 months and gives access to the feature that lets you download songs.

Besides that, if you use the TIM carrier, Deezer has a partnership with it, where many of the carrier’s plans already include some Deezer Premium plans for free, so it’s worth checking out!

Shazam

Imagine yourself in the following situation: you’re somewhere and a song is playing that you really like and whose name you’d like to know, especially if it’s in another language. It’s hard, isn’t it?

Well, if you need an app just to find out the name of a song, don’t forget to download the Shazam app.

It lets you find out the name of the song that’s playing in just a few seconds, also showing the artist, the lyrics, and even the album.

In addition, the app also recommends new tracks based on your musical taste. To download on iPhone (IOS) and Google Play (Android)

Amazon Prime Music

With all the buzz around Amazon Prime’s arrival in Brazil, one of its available services is Amazon Music, which offers the most-listened-to songs in a wide variety and can be considered a strong competitor to the two apps mentioned earlier, Spotify and Deezer.

So, did you like the app options for listening to music? Remember that we covered the apps most used and recommended by users, but it’s important that you test them and see which option best meets your needs. It’s even possible to use more than one app at the same time, since one can complement the other in some functions.

Enjoy!
